University Research Garden will investigate the advantages and disadvantages of using a diverse plant species rather than sedum only for extensive green roof, the plant-to-plant compatibilities, the compatibilities between the plants and growing substrate and the overall suitability of the plants for green roof applications.

Winter Garden Greenhouses extend the growing season and allow another complete variety of plant options.
Sporadically placed plant boxes demonstrate the mobile and self-watering ‘Living Food Box’ design allowing maximum results with minimum effort and space limitations.
Extensive Gardens feature a combination of sedums and indigenous plants including herbs and medicinal varieties.
Vertical Gardens strategically placed across gables and walls will produce food, flowers and herbs.
Summer Trays for greens, herbs and medicinal plant production will surround extensive gardens.
